Claudine Burgess attended the Adelaide Motorsport Festival (2017) and captured numerous photographs of the event both on and off the track. Although she was not formally engaged by the Festival as a photographer, she was kind enough to share some of her images for the Festival to publish on social media and I was impressed with the high quality of these shots. Claudine is a talented photographer with a good eye and considerable technical skill. Her photography is underpinned by an enviable knowledge and understanding of motorsport, gained through her previous work with Honda Racing Corporation on the MotoGP circuit and many years of family involvement in the sport. In addition to her technical and creative abilities, her extensive experience means she also has a high level of understanding of the safety aspects of motorsport.

We have been a regular client of Claudine’s now over the past 12months and when I say client I should probably use the term business partner and friend. You see when Claudine is offered an opportunity to support your business in her professional field of photography and market design she literally becomes a business partner with you measuring her success on your success and in doing so has become a friend. We value Claudine’s approach to photography as she has been able to very quickly understand our immediate needs of presenting our services and club culture to our external community, while helping to develop a sense appreciation to our current members and clients by showcasing their dedication to their own goals and aspirations. The creativity and ideas behind the images Claudine has provided us with has not only given us with a large amount of professionally edited stock images, that we have been able to use to maximise our social media presence. She has also been able to create a story line that has helped us re-develop our website and complete external marketing strategies. Thank you, Claudine, for your energy and ideas.

Importantly for us was that she took the time to understand who we are, our purpose, values and aspirations so that the spirit of our work was reflected through her images. We now have a bank of bespoke images to draw from for our website. Claudine was also our photographer of choice at an awards ceremony at Government House. She initiated a briefing meeting prior to the day to clarify all aspects of the event and to ensure that all protocols were observed. She is professional and skilled at putting people at ease and creating a relaxed atmosphere. The resulting group and individual photos captured the celebratory spirit of the day very well.
